At Myrtle Medical, we partner with full-service, comprehensive laboratories that use state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment through our network of independent laboratories. You’ll have access to a wide range of tests needed to diagnose many common and uncommon medical issues.

The labs are federally licensed by the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act (CLIA), and surveyed on a regular basis by the California state health department. The goal is to ensure all equipment has the internal and external quality control needed to maintain accurate and consistent test results.

Waiting for Test Results

We understand the frustration and anxiety of waiting for important test results. That’s why we do all we can to ensure you receive your results as quickly as possible. In most cases, we will receive results within two business days. Some tests take longer, so we’ll let you know at the time of your test how long you should expect to wait.

Your doctor will interpret your test results and then, using that information, create the right treatment plan for you. They will be able to create a comprehensive treatment plan based on your medical history, general information from your physical exam, and other test results in conjunction with your lab testing.

The goal is to have the most personalized and comprehensive treatment plan based on your overall health situation, including accurate lab test results and any other information available concerning your health.
